The automatic digital penetrometer’s penetration depth for the penetration needle is determined with an electronic position measuring system that is decoupled from the plunger during the test. This completely eliminates the influence on load and friction, ensuring the highest measurement accuracy.
The raising and lowering of the needle are carried out automatically via the measuring system. Manual joystick mode is also possible for flexible testing. After positioning, the plunger is enabled by an automatic device and blocked again after the testing period.
The test result is displayed on the touchscreen display for immediate and clear result reading. The plunger can be easily removed to calibrate its weight when needed.
