The sector compactor from Infratest is designed for production of representative asphalt samples according to international standards. The system is equipped with 30 kN force and can handle sample sizes of 320×260 mm with height between 40–120 mm. Fully electronic control via Windows-based program enables flexible and automated sample production.

Description

The sector compactor consists of a rigid steel housing with safety door and motor-driven sample control unit. Compaction load is applied horizontally by an electronically controlled load/displacement system that ensures precise and repeatable load transfer.

Form and stamp are equipped with heating elements for temperature control, enabling optimal processing of bituminous mixtures. The entire testing procedure is controlled by a Windows-based program that gives the operator the ability to create custom test sequences according to specific test protocols.

The system can be supplied with either touchscreen or keyboard for easy and intuitive use. The roller at a speed of 45 passes per minute ensures efficient and consistent sample production.
