Skid test

The skid resistance tester measures the energy loss when a rubber slider edge is driven across the surface being tested. The pendulum arm release mechanism features an original solution that reduces friction to a minimum for improved accuracy.

The tester is delivered complete with:

• Built-in scale for testing on polished stone value specimens

• Ruler made of plexiglass for verification of slide length

• Thermometer range –10 to +110 °C for surface temperature measurement

• Tray, wash bottle, brush and tool kit

• Carrying case

• Calibration certificate in accordance with EN 1097-8 or ASTM E303 (model A113-01)

Rubber sliders are not included and must be ordered separately. Base dimensions: 730 × 730 × 330 mm. Weight: approx. 32 kg.
