The RTFOT oven from Infratest is designed for automated aging studies of bituminous binders according to international standards. The system is electrically driven with capacity for up to 8 glass test cups and enables automatic test procedure with optical and acoustic signals for operator guidance.

Description

The RTFOT oven is equipped with an electric drive unit and holder for up to 8 glass test cups. A nozzle for feeding air to the sample is equipped with a flow meter for precise regulation of air volume (air flow 4000 ml/min). A fan circulates air inside the chamber for uniform temperature distribution.

The oven is preset to a test temperature of 163°C with a built-in control thermometer for temperature verification. The test procedure is fully automatic and the operator is informed of test progress through optical and acoustic signals.

To perform the test, a source of compressed air or a compressor (20-25770) is required. Glass containers (20-2573 or 20-2574) are supplied separately.
