Operating principle
The PaveMix is designed to prepare representative bituminous test specimens under controlled conditions. Aggregate and bitumen are mixed in the heated bowl until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The short mixing time — typically a few minutes — reduces the risk of mechanical grain breakdown and ensures that all mineral components are fully coated with binder, in accordance with EN 12697-35.
