Permeability apparatus

This fully automatic apparatus from Matest is designed to perform water permeability tests on cubic concrete specimens with a maximum side of 150 mm and cylindrical specimens with a maximum diameter of 160 mm.

The specimens are subjected to hydrostatic pressure for a preset period, and the water that penetrates through the test specimen is collected directly and measured in a graduated cylinder. The equipment consists of a robust metal frame housing four hot-dip galvanised cells for corrosion protection, each equipped with a pressure control manometer.
