Permeability apparatus

This fully automatic apparatus from Matest is designed to perform water permeability tests on cubic concrete samples with a maximum side of 150 mm and cylindrical samples with a maximum diameter of 160 mm.

The samples are subjected to hydrostatic stress for a preset period. The water that penetrates the test sample is collected directly and measured in a graduated cylinder.

The equipment consists of a heavy-duty metal frame that houses four cells that are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection. Each cell includes a pressure control manometer.
