To ensure that moulds and test specimens meet the geometric requirements set out in the standard, we offer a complete range of control instruments.
Image 1 – Planeness gauge
Our own model of planeness gauge, incl. setting plate for zero plane adjustment. The planeness gauge measures deviation over a 130 mm span and is available with a dial gauge with a resolution of 0.01 or 0.001 mm. Very easy to use with direct reading of the planeness deviation — a practical alternative to feeler gauges and straight edges.
Image 2 – Straight edge and feeler gauge
The straight edge is made from hardened special steel with finely ground sides and lapped edge, and is used to check the planeness of mould bearing surfaces. The feeler gauge is used to measure any gaps and deviations.
Image 3 – Digital calliper
Used for quick and accurate checking of the external dimensions of test specimens — such as side length, diameter and depth — with digital readout and high precision.
Image 4 – Tolerance gauge
Used to check tolerances and fits on moulds, for example to verify that dimensions remain within permitted deviations according to the standard.
Image 5 – Try square
Used to check the squareness of moulds and test specimens, ensuring that angles meet the requirements of EN 12390-1.
