PAV Pressure Aging Vessel – Infratest

The PAV equipment has been developed to simulate the accelerated ageing of bitumen and bituminous binders after 5 to 10 years. The sample is exposed to high pressure and temperature for 20 hours, to simulate the effect of long-term oxidative ageing by verifying the penetration and softening point properties.

Compressed air source > 21 bar or a compressor.

Up to 10 custom pressure/temperature/time sequences are stored.
