Sample Splitters

Standard: EN 933-3

When choosing the size of the sample splitter (or gap width), the standard stipulates that you should choose a splitter with a gap opening of at least 2 times the largest grain size.

1) Manual sample splitter

There are a number of different splitters with different gap openings, materials and designs.

Haver’s sample splitters are available in robust galvanized steel or stainless steel, with laminated sample vessels.

The picture shows our own closed model, which was developed at the request of many labs. It is made of stainless steel (easy to clean) and has a slit opening of 40 mm.
