Marsh Funnel Viscometer

The Marsh Funnel viscometer is used to determine the viscosity of drilling mud and other liquid materials by measuring the time required for a defined volume to flow through a standardized orifice.

The funnel has a 4.7 mm orifice and half of the funnel mouth is fitted with a 2 mm mesh screen, preventing coarser particles from passing through and ensuring stable and repeatable measurements. It is made of robust, impact-resistant plastic for use both in the field and in the laboratory, and is supplied complete with a 1000 ml graduated beaker for easy reading of volume and flow time.
