Mud balance

Mud balance provides a simple and accurate method for determining mud density. The balance consists of a base and a graduated arm with cup, lid, knife edge, rider, built-in spirit level, and counterweight. The constant-volume cup is attached to one end of the graduated arm, while the counterweight is located at the opposite end. The instrument is supplied with a carrying case and is suitable for both field use and routine testing.

The balance is used for quick density control of mud and similar mixtures where reliable and reproducible results are required. Its simple but robust design makes it well suited for field work and routine measurements.
