Cube molds are used to produce test specimens according to EN 12390-1
“Lindkvist mould”
This classic cube mould of our own production is made of steel and is available in different sizes. The mould consists of a base plate connected with hinges to two side pieces that can be folded out. In the side pieces there are milled grooves for flat-ground loose plates. The mould is held together by two threaded rods with wing nuts. The side pieces have a recess that provides a marking in the cube that this is not a pressure surface. The flat-ground plates have a tolerance of better than 0.02 mm.
A flat pressure surface is very important for the result, especially for high-strength concrete.
1) The mould is available in the sizes 150 x 150 mm and 100 x 100 mm, and in 1-, 2- and 3-compartment models.
