Image 1 – “The Lindkvist Mould” – Own manufacture
This classic steel cube mould of our own manufacture is available in various sizes. The mould consists of a base plate connected by hinges to two side pieces that can be folded out. The side pieces feature milled grooves for precision-ground loose plates with a tolerance better than 0.02 mm — an important detail, as a flat bearing surface is of great importance for test results, particularly for high-strength concrete. The mould is held together by two threaded rods with wing nuts. The side pieces have a recess that leaves a mark on the cube indicating that this side is not a bearing surface.
