Display with built-in PC and automatic control of the loading rate. Possible to connect 2 channels — which can be advantageous for e.g. measuring small forces or split tests. Possibility to transfer data to PC and also control the press via an external PC with remote control (requires additional software).
The automation manages speed and fracture detection. Since the loading rate is an important variable for test results, it is important to maintain the same rate for different tests to obtain comparable results. Too high a rate gives higher fracture loads and vice versa. With automatic control, operator-independent testing with reproducible results is achieved. If an integrated printer is also used, the rate is documented, which can be an advantage in a quality assurance system.
