Flow Cone Apparatus

Flow cone apparatus is used to determine the viscosity and flowability of mortar, grout, slurry and other fluid materials. The equipment is intended for checking the flow properties of the material and is well suited for laboratory testing according to EN 445.

The apparatus consists of a brass cone mounted on a stand and is supplied with a sieve with a 1.5 mm opening, a 1-liter collecting cup and a nozzle with a retaining sleeve. It provides a simple, quick and repeatable method for assessing flow behaviour and is often used for testing cement-based grout materials.
