Proctor penetrometer

The Proctor Penetrometer is designed for field determination of the relationship between moisture and penetration resistance in fine-grained soils. The system uses a spring load scale with a range of 0-40 kg with subdivision of 1 kg, enabling direct reading of maximum value in kg on the sliding rod. The apparatus is suitable for rapid field assessment of soil mechanical properties according to ASTM standard.

Description

The Proctor Penetrometer is equipped with a chromium finish for durability and corrosion resistance. The system is supplied complete with nine interchangeable stainless steel needles with diameters of 4.52, 5.23, 6.40, 9.07, 12.83, 16.54, 20.22, 24.79 and 28.55 mm, enabling testing of various soils. Accessories and a practical carrying case are included for easy transport and storage.
