The Vibrating Compaction Hammer is an electrically driven compaction apparatus designed for compaction of soil samples according to the Proctor method for determining the relationship between dry density and moisture content. The system also enables testing of unconfined compressive strength of stabilized soils, CBR tests, compaction of asphalt for road density determination, and compaction of concrete cube or beam samples according to international standards.
The Vibrating Compaction Hammer offers an alternative method to other compaction methods and is useful for both laboratory testing and field work. It is supplied without tampers and support frame, which must be ordered separately according to test method and material requirements.
