Consists of base plate and level gauge, as well as a movable drop rod with automatic piston release and a timer with an interval of 0.1 seconds to 99.99 hours. A halogen lamp and magnifying glass are provided to help position the penetration needle on the sample. Supplied with a dial gauge 30 x 0.01 mm for measuring penetration depth and drop weight 97.5 g (drop rod 47.5 g available as an option 20-2080E30).
