The Marshall compactor is designed with a trigger mechanism that ensures the drop hammer falls at the same height with each blow, guaranteeing repeatable and precise compaction. The mould is held in place by a quick-clamp device for easy handling.
The Marshall compactor includes a concrete foundation on which a wooden block is mounted for stability and durability. After the preset number of blows, the motor stops automatically, eliminating operator dependence.
The system is easy to use and provides consistent compaction of bituminous sample slabs according to standard specifications.
