Module Extraction unit MODA (for Asphalt Analyzer PURE)

For extraction and binder content determination of bituminous materials, especially for rubber-modified bituminous mixtures within a closed system using non-flammable solvents.
The module MODA can be operated only with Asphalt Analysator PURE Basic module.
The bituminous mixture will be separated by vibration and purging of the horizontal washing chamber. The module can be used for up to 3.5 kg of bituminous mixtures. Rubber and components with a density lower than the solvent can be collected and separated by a submergible collector ring.

The software “Prof.EX 4.0” allows the control and setting of all machine parameters operated by Asphalt Analysator Pure basic module. The graphical user interface enable an easy operation of tests with standard materials, and an additional interface allow the determination of extraction parameters of superior bituminous mixes.

The mineral aggregates are kept in the screen basket, filler and the bitumen solvent mix are transferred into the centrifuge and recovery of the basic module. Mineral compounds are dried in the MODA module and will be ready for weighing and grading line determination. The collected rubber material will be dried in the collector ring.

• Includes 1 set of washing drum and collector ring 20-11600E523. For continuos working a second set is recommended.
• Module is installed on the base module. No addtional space requirement regarding the width of the system.
• Module is connected to the base module. No additonal electrical connection required.
