The DTS-16 Dynamic Testing System is a servo-pneumatically controlled testing machine that, through digital control of a pneumatic servo valve, can generate precise loading waveforms up to 70 Hz. The system can be operated in both tension and compression dynamic loading and is suitable for testing a wide range of materials, including asphalt, soil, unbound granular materials, fibers, and plastics.
The DTS-16 is based on Pavetest’s advanced CDAS2 digital controller, TestLab software, and a complete range of accessories, hardware, and software – all working together in perfect harmony. See description.
The machine is equipped with:
B220-11: 20 kN load frame with manual crosshead, 16 kN servo-pneumatic actuator with LVDT (30 mm stroke), and a ±20 kN load cell
B209-16: 16-channel control and data acquisition system (CDAS2) with TestLab software
B270-12: Air reservoir assembly with membrane dryer
For operation, a minimum air pressure of 7 bar is required (not included).
